Filariasis is an endemic condition in parts of Bihar. Microfilariae have been commonly seen in peripheral blood, lymph node and subcutaneous smears. However, we found microfilariae in normally voided urine sediment of a patient who presented with haematuria. We present this rare occurrence.
The effect of the two entomopathogenic fungi Nomuraea rileyi tested under laboratory green house and field conditions against the potato tuber moth Phthorimaea operculella, results show that the LC50 of the potato tuber moth P. operculella under laboratory conations which cleared that ,it reaches to 76X104 , 98 X104 , 100 X104 and 123 X104, 140 X104 spores/ml for 1st , 2nd, 3rd , 4th , and 5th larval instars., respectively. The corresponding LC50 recorded under semi field conditions, 88X104 , 105 X104, 109 X104, 133 X104 and 149 X104 spores/ ml respectively.

Divalproex sodium is considered as the most important antiepileptic drug and widely used for treatment of epilepsy, bi-polar disorders and prophylaxis of migraine. The major problem with this drug is its poor solubility in biological fluids, which results into poor bioavailability after oral administration. Thus, solid dispersions (SDs) of Divalproex sodium were prepared using Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), Polyethylene glycol (PEG 6000) and Polyvinyl pyrolidine (PVP K30) to increase its aqueous solubility.

In pregnant women, Toxoplasmosis is mostly without any symptoms and in warm climatic conditions usually more common than cool climatic and mountainous. The serological techniques are most important methods for diagnosis.
In this present study the ability of Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus in dinitrogen fixation associated with sugarcane suggests that the endophyte is of considerable in cane yields as well as sugar recovery. The entophytic bacterium NGDZ – 14 fixed about 17.30 ± 0.43 Amount of “N” fixed (mg/g of malate) in our study. All the twenty isolates of Gluconacetobacter were graded into three categories on the basis of their dinitrogen fixing efficiency of 15 (mg/g of malate), above 10- 14 (mg/g of malate) and below 10 (mg/g of malate).
