Home-based pediatric telepractice in speech-language pathology: Evaluation of a pilot study

Introduction: There has been considerable interest in whether a home-based telepractice in speech-language pathology (TSLP) can increase access to the services of speech-language pathologist (SLP). Most of the studies reported in the literature suggest that TSL Prepresents a promising avenue. However, the evidence on the clinical efficacy of this treatment modality in home-based applications isvery limited. The aim of the current study was to assess the technical and clinical feasibility of home-based TSLP in an application with children with voice disorders.

Managing gag reflex during removable complete denture treatment: a case report

The gag reflex is an innate reflex to protect the upper respiratory and digestive tracts from any event that could cause their obstruction. Pre-implant study: interest of the digital prosthetic project

The prosthetic project in implantology is a diagnostic process that prefigures the aesthetic, functional and occlusal parameters in a correct static and dynamic context (occlusion plane, vertical occlusion dimension, occlusal curves, lip support...). For simple prosthetic projects (one or two missing teeth), treatment planning is relatively easy. For complex projects, a more detailed analysis is necessary to anticipate and predict on models and/or in the mouth, the position of future prosthetic, by using various "models" or "guides".

Biohydrogen production using anaerobic decomposition and classfying the biomasses based on the employment of the pretreatment methods

Hydrogen has the highest energy content per unit mass when compared to fuel types. When used as fuel, the product released to the atmosphere is only water or water vapor. Hydrogen gas can be produced by solar energy, wind, wave and biomass. Although biohydrogen studies help determine the biomass types that can serve as an alternative to fossil fuels while having a lower environmental impact, the selected biohydrogen production methods should also be cost-effective and sustainable at an industrial scale.
