Background: Many developed countries tend to pay attention to the practice of sports recreational activities because of their effectiveness in investing the leisure time of the practitioners in a positive way and protecting them from the risks of engaging in activities that harm the individual and society, which prompted the researcher to identify the steps for designing a proposed model to promote the practice of these activities. Aim: Conducting an analytical study of the objectives of the proposed model to promote the practice of sports recreational activities in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Methods: The researcher used the descriptive method (the survey studies method) that is appropriate for the research transaction. Results: The most important results of the research were to increase the base of participants in recreational sports activities in the Arab Republic of Egypt, raise the efficiency of new cities and provide them with clubs and youth centers. Conclusion: The researcher recommended paying attention to the sports infrastructure and expanding the spread of sports recreational activities
