In order to determine the association between blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin and oral glucose tolerance test (POTG), with the risk of developing DM2 in university professors of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, a descriptive, comparative and correlational research will be carried out, with a prospective, cross-sectional and non-experimental design, the sample will be 100 teachers. The Findrisc scale will be applied, the POTG and HbA1c will be performed. Descriptive and inferential statistics will be used in the analysis. It is expected to obtain epidemiological data on the risk factors associated with DM2 in university teachers.
