Impact of typical gastroesophageal reflux in patients with asthma

Introduction: The absence of Gabonese data justifies this work, which aimed to identify the consequences of typical gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) in asthma control. Patients and methods: This is a retrospective cross-sectional study carried out in a population of asthmatics followed for more than 2 years at Omar Bongo Ondimba Military Training Hospital between January 1, 2008 and 31 December 2015. Demographic, Social, Epidemiological, Clinical, Paraclinical and Therapeutic data were collected and compared between the group of patients with GERD and those without GERD.

The importance of academic leagues in the health area for academic and professional development

This article is based on a cross-sectional and descriptive study with two methodological approaches – quantitative and qualitative, which aims to identify and evaluate the importance of academic leagues in the professional training of students in undergraduate courses that contemplate the area of health. Data were collected from December 9 to 15, 2019, through an electronic questionnaire applied to students and graduates who participated/participated in health leagues, totaling 90 responses.

Out-Turn of autogenic pedagogy on the regulation of anxiety and stress among distance runners

The purpose of the study was to find out the Out-turn of autogenic training on the management of anxiety, stress among distance runners. Thirty men inter-collegiate level athletes were selected from Algappa University college of physical education Karaikudi. The selected subjects’ age group ranged from 18 to 25. The subjects were divided into control and experimental group, each group consists of fifteen subjects. All the selected subjects underwent one and half hour distance running training in the morning and evening. The experimental group underwent autogenic training thrice a week.

Study of ground water quality of mandideep industrial area, Madhya Pradesh, India

Ground water quality, especially within industrial area is increasing interest for study. This paper is focus on the ground water quality status of Mandideep industrial area of Madhya Pradesh India. Study of physico-chemical parameters of ground water was carried out during different quarters of year 2018- 2019. In present study, total thirteen ground water samples were collected from selected locations at Mandideep industrial area. Ground water was monitored and samples were analyzed by standard methods.

Effect of spraying with microelements on growth and productivity of top and elite cucumber varieties

Cucumber is an important vegetable crop. Fertilization with microelements increases production and improves its quality. In this study we tested the effect of foliar spraying with microelement on some production and quality parameters of cucumber genotypes. Complete randomized blocks design was used. Two cultivars of cucumber were tested (Top and Elite). Two treatments for each cultivar (spraying with microelements and control). Three replicates per treatment, with 5 plants for each replicate, were adopted. Treatment plants were sprayed weekly with 1 g/L of microelements.
