Risk factors and biochemical indicators of type 2 diabetes mellitus in university teachers

In order to determine the association between blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin and oral glucose tolerance test (POTG), with the risk of developing DM2 in university professors of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, a descriptive, comparative and correlational research will be carried out, with a prospective, cross-sectional and non-experimental design, the sample will be 100 teachers. The Findrisc scale will be applied, the POTG and HbA1c will be performed. Descriptive and inferential statistics will be used in the analysis.

Prevention of stunting in madura culture

Madura tribe is one of the tribes that have the character as a formidable fighter, hard worker, and has a strong Islamic religious culture. So that requires a good approach to overcome the problem of stunting. Stunting is a chronic malnutrition condition that causes growth disturbance in children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of cultural factors, social structure and child factors on stunting prevention which is moderated by family independence. The study design was observational with a cross sectional approach.

Improving behavior of consuming fe tablets for pregnant mothers of anemia in the covid pandemic 19

During the Covid 19 Pandemic, new strategies were needed to improve Table Fe consumption behavior in pregnant women with iron deficiency anemia. The main cause of anemia is the low compliance of mothers consuming Fe because mothers forget, family support, in this case the husband is a factor in the behavior of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets. The purpose of this study is to prevent anemia by increasing the behavior of consuming Fe in anemic pregnant women through Couple Class Online.

Empowering teachers in monitoring growth of toddlers

Monitoring the growth and development of children is not only the responsibility of health workers, but also the responsibility of the teacher. Research Objectives: Empowering the teacher's role in monitoring children's growth and development. This research method is pre- experimental, with a Static Group Comparation design approach. The population is a teacher in Early Childhood, a large population of 100 people. The research sample was 50 respondents in the treatment group, and 50 respondents in the control group. Instrument for collecting data with questionnaires and observation sheets.

Audiovisual conceling of the reference case of preeklampsia (a learning media)

There is currently no Audiovisual Learning Media for Counseling for Preeclampsia Case Referral. The process of referring cases of preeclampsia to the hospital requires good counseling from the midwife to the patient. The purpose of this research is to make audiovisual learning media referral counseling for preeclampsia cases. This research is a descriptive study with 2 variables, they are lecturer assessment and student assessment of the audiovisual learning media counseling referral to preeclampsia cases that have been made.

Adolescent sexual behavior in disaster area

Obesogenic factors influencing obesity among saudi children

Childhood obesity is deliberated as a serious health problem worldwide. The aim of this review is to determine the factors influencing obesity among Saudi Children. Obesity prevalence has increased dramatically among children aged 6-17 years, which is extending into the developing world from the developed nations. In Saudi Arabia, it has been documented that, the occurrence of obesity among adolescents increased significantly (Country Cooperation Strategy for WHO and Saudi Arabia, 2015). Globally, 22 million children approximately, under age 5, are estimated to be overweight.
