Evaluation of the potential of allium cepa l. peel against carica papaya linn fruit rot pathogens

The harmful effect of synthetic pesticides on the environment and human health calls for sustainable plant and animal disease management. The study's objective was to evaluate the antifungal activities of red onion peel extract on papaya fruit rot fungal pathogens. Onion peel methanol extract at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25mg/ml concentration was employed to assess the fungal inhibition.

Evaluation of the effects of dry and rainy seasons on cassava (manihot esculenta crantz) rootstoxicity and fungi associated with its rot

Water stress is known to enhance the accumulation of vitamins and cyanogenic glucosides in cassava (Manihotesculenta Crantz), a food security crop in Sub-Saharan Africa. A study was carried out to evaluation of the effects of dry and rainy seasons on cassava rootstoxicity and fungi associated with its rot. Laboratory work was done at Imo State University's Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, while the field experiment was conducted at Nigeria's National Root Crop Research Institute in Umudike, Umuahia, Abia State.

Efficacy of palm kernel bunch extract against cucumber damping-off caused by sclerotium rolsfsii sacc

Sclerotium rolfsii Sacc. is a very damaging plant pathogen that infects more than 500 plant species, resulting in substantial reductions in crop productivity. A field and laboratory studies were conducted at the Imo State University, Owerribotanical garden and Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology laboratory, to determine the effectiveness of oil palm fruit bunch extract against S. rolfsii.

Effect of creatine monohydrate supplemented media on sex ratio in drosophila melanogaster.

Dietary composition is one of the major experimental factors that affects many aspects of animal physiology including life span, general health, reproductive fitness and progeny sex ratio hence the present study has been undertaken in Drosophila melanogaster to investigate the effect of creatine monohydrate supplemented media on sex ratio. In the present study, the results showed that flies fed creatine monohydrate treated media produce greater number of female offspring than male offspring while control media produced almost equivalent number of female and male progenies.

Preliminary physico-chemical & phyto-cognostical evaluation of the tinospora cordifolia (willd) miers stem in east u.p (india) region

Herbal plants are having medicinal value gaining more importance in clinical research now days due to their better pharmacological response and less side effects as compared to allopathic drugs. Plant produces primary metabolites for their basic survival and secondary metabolites for their ecological, taxonomical and biochemical differentiation and diversity.

Effect of different bio-stimulants on growth, quality and yield of chrysanthemum

The present investigation entitled effect of different bio-stimulants on growth, quality and yield of Chrysanthemumwas carried out during the rabi season 2021 on the field of ASPEE, Agricultural Research and Development Foundation, Tansa Farm, At- Nare, Taluka- Wada, Dist- Palghar, Maharashtra, India. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD).

Physicochemical study of marjan (corallium rubrum linn) sokhta

Shokhta /Moharraq are Unani pharmaceutical process, in this process the animal drug Carbonized. Physicochemical test were applied upon these drug the outcomes are based on following parameters; Carbonized value 89.5%, Maximum temperature 1100 0C, Water soluble matter 0.37%, Alcohol soluble matter 1.83%, pH 1% and 10% is 9.74, 10.10, Atomic absorption Spectroscopic Analysis (AAS) Results in ppm, Cd=0.018, Hg Nil, As= Nil, Pb=0.004, Ca=0.024, P=0.009, Mg=0.022.Inorganic elements use as a micronutrient in health.

Knowledge, self-perception, and learning challenges towards patient care of level ii nursing students in a private university in Cebu City

The research identifies the students' challenges in their learning process and how these challenges impact their patient care practices. Results showed that the respondents’ knowledge is not influenced by their perception and the challenges they face in online learning. It is seen that the student’s knowledge based on their grades does not affect their perception of providing patient care. Therefore, there is no significant relationship between the students' knowledge and their perception of providing patient care.

Review on unani pharmaceutical process moharraq (sokhta)

Amal-e-Ehraq is an Unani pharmaceutical processby which drugs are burnt to the charring stage but not reduce to ash. Drugs which undergo this process are suffixed with the term “Moharraq” or “Sokhta” for example Sartan Moharraq, Busud Sokhta, Marjan Sokhta Aspand Sokhtaetc. In this process drug/s packed in Boota (earthen pot), this boota cover with another mud pot, sealed with paste of Gile Multani (Multan clay) & cloth (Kaproti). Then, boota keep in furnace after dry, monitor the temperature of furnace, left for 6 to 8 hours. Removed the boota and collect the drug.

A clinical study- management of amlapitta through ahara and vihara and yoga - a research article

‘Hurry’, ‘Worry’ and ‘Curry’ are the three main reasons for Amlapitta. Aahara is the best preventive medicine and solely responsible for health and illness, sorrow and happiness.
